Re: Laced wheel thread

Like I told the owner of these wheels: I'm driving over to Profile Racing today and slapping the person who thought it was a good idea to put this coating on these hubs. Clogged up every spoke hole from allowing the spokes to slide in. Very frustrating. But the wheelset turned out super nice. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Odyssey hoops. Very nice chrome, very straight, and the welded and machined seam if very clean. There is almost always a hop in a hoop at the seam. Not these.

Re: Laced wheel thread

Charlie I cannot tell you how many Profile hubs I’ve had to clean out the spoke holes on. Killer wheel set btw.

They look fantastic. I’ve had a set of those rims sitting in the shed for several years...might be time to do something with them.

Just want to let everyone know, when I list something for sale PLEASE ready the description completely and follow the directions so there isn’t any issues! When members call dibs and then disappear it holds the item up for someone who is ready to purchase said item.

Re: Laced wheel thread

This is what they went on, almost finished with it! 1984 Hutch Pro Racer sourced original down tube and fork decals, need to install them tomorrow and the rest of them are original to the bike.https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/62064/19a4527e-4739-4239-9e0b-2c651c9256a85fae046b3b.jpeg
