1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

Another addition to my uncommon freestyle builds–SOLD

I was looking for another build that wasn't that common and this became available. I'm never really down with exact catalog builds but do have quite a few pieces from it. Very sharp head angle. Actually rides great, brakes are very strong as well. This doesn't look it but it's a tank and full cro-mo to boot.

Re: 1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

This bike rocks. Like that you left the original frame and fork paint/decals.

Re: 1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

Nice job! I had one many years ago and loved how it rode, and yeah, the head tube angle is super steep. Awesome!

Re: 1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

First time seeing this one. Choice parts selection. The rear triangle is so badass on this frame. Love the patina. Love it!

Re: 1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

Thanks. I've got a few changeouts in the works such as OG freecoaster/coaster brake wheelset & DB bars that came on it originally. I'll get updated picts when I get her finished.

Re: 1988 Diamond Back Strike Zone

That's a sweet freestyle whip, James...didn't know you had this one. I need to check in more often, I guess!  I wish you hadn't moved away.  I want to take all your bikes for a spin! big_smile
