2013 Firemans Texas Cruzer Tall Texan
2013 Firemans Texas Cruzer Tall Texan
1st Tall Texan model to reach the public.
SOLD THIS FOR A TREMENDOUS LOSS. Didn't have the time and wanted some one to enjoy it. I hope it is ridden regularly wherever it is.
This Tall Texan is a new model from firemansbikes, handmade in Austin, TX. Link to their site: http://firemansbikes.com/
It is a BMX built for taller riders such as the 1980 Moosegoose and the 1981 Thunder Max but with today's Firemans Bikes Geometry for Comfort with yesterday's style...available in 20" and 22".
They also offer 29", 26", and 24" models as well.
Their bikes come with their signature bottle opener welded to the bottom of the bb tube.

Wow, cool that loos like a good size with the longer head tube.

Re: 2013 Firemans Texas Cruzer Tall Texan
It rides like it has a much longer top tube because of the seat tube angle. Can't wait to see this one built up.

The 22" idea is awesome except for the non-21"-21.25"tt , that's my only complaint .

Re: 2013 Firemans Texas Cruzer Tall Texan
Yep , good specs just need a bigger tt size , can't fit on anything less than 21.25" or so comfortably .

i'm almost sure "effective top tube" would be longer, and it has 1 1/8 head tube. i wish i could afford this in a 22" pretty frikn epic! IMO

The Tall Texan 20 or 22 is definitely the front runner for my next bike.
I'm building a FTC 26 as we speak. Chrome, yo.

Yes they did. This ride is more like a shorter (yet still big due to angles) stetched out bmx cruiser if you will.

A custom chromed tall texan was recently posted. Mine will be customised too. I planned to have it done by my 40th birthday near the end of the month but I´m out of the country for a bit and I´m not sure I can meet that timeline but it will get there eventually.
