Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
BTW, took it for it's first ride in years a few days ago to go fishing. I LOVE this bike! My favorite bike and I have a few real nice bikes!

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
I would think '92 on both
planetbicycle@yahoo.com
Would love to find my old Dirt Bike. It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996. It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame. Pitchforks, Slam bars, King Headset, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks. Superlace hubs. Would really love to put this back in my collection.

Hi Duane! We riding as soon as this lock down is over! So these would of been made for the S&M 24s before the Widowmakers I assume.. Makes me wounder if the frame would of had the frame set of this series at one time. Not saying this frame since I do not know if this frame and fork were together since the start.

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
Also, can someone explain this bike? I guess there is 3 of these decals known cus I hadn't seen this before. Looks like a Mongoose or something with the rare S&M decals??

Since this thread probably has more S&M knowledge than anywhere else, I wanted to find out more about my forks. I got my S&M 24 #17 in about 2013 or 2014. I believe, best I can tell, it was first scored by NBKA-SENSEI since I found a post on BMX Society showing it off when he got it but the pictures are not showing since the posts are old. So I do not know if these were the forks with it. It appears to have went from him to wagonguy, to profilerider then to Packin_Plastic who I think is the one i got it from. This bike traveled till it found a permanent home. Ed had it for a few years but it was still in my crew before coming back home. If it hadn't of been with Ed those years, this bike would of been thrown out roadside for trash when I got divorced, yes she threw out a few thousand dollars in BMX stuff I had! Anyway, All the old posts before I got it, none of the pictures show so I do not know if these forks were added later. From what I understand, the fork decals are super rare. They were the only ones I had seen before seeing someone on here many years back that had some NOS fork decals of these. Its the reason I wont take them off event though they don't really match. So the question is Wouldn't these of been made around the same time as the frame and would these decals be original to the fork.

Those style decals would have come on a 92 holmes. The forks look consistent with those that would have been made around that time. Sandwiched drops, no hole drilled for a brake on the steer tube, thinner steer tube, single tack weld on the inside of the dropout, etc.
It's all in the Technique...

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
Heres 2093 (RIP BMXRUSH) when i owned it - sold to a freind and fellow member earlier this year- i remember after seeing Suicidepans comparison of forks when i first got it i inspected the fork - seemed to have been transitional as the leg diameter was larger with a sleeved steer tube but the drops were only tac welded on the insides. Wish i had more pics of it this is the only one i can find.

That frame was in drchoppers possession at one point and the fork was not with it. It was never posted by him because he never he never completely built it up.

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
New here but avid S&M fan. I’m currently rebuilding my dads (which I raced in 1995-96) Widowmaker. It is serial number SMC2172. I reached out to Moeller in regards to the numbering system. He apologized but says he couldn’t pinpoint it. I’m curious as to the year of mine, I’m thinking it’s a 1993 or 1994. Still after some parts but just trying to get this one together for now
S and M bruiser bars (still trying to find the gay bars I left in my moms attic)
S and M pitchforks
Primo hubs
Sun ryno lite rims
S and M chainsaw sprocket 42T
ACS claw freewheel 17t
Redline flight cranks 180mm (after a set of Prince alberts)
Redneck stem
S and M slim logo seat
KMC chain
Headset, seatpost, seatclamp unknown

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry
I wonder should we do the same with the menstrual cycle and Murray rear holmes?
Build it, Ride it and Break it. That what "it" was made for.
