Not planning to change much on here.....maybe some 3 piece cranks (or not), different bars, definitely an xl or xxl stem and a slight layback seatpost. I know, I know....they look much better with straight seatposts...but I'm planning to ride this one, and I'm 6'3". I need the space.....

Anybody have any pre-gay cruiser bars for me??

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry

I was deep in a widowmaker/s&m 24" rabbit hole late one night years ago, and I tracked down the guy who owned this bike since 1994. Emailed him, and after many long discussions, and much patience, he finally relented and sold me the bike last week.

His story with the bike is much more interesting-- He bought it used in a bike shop in 1994, rode it for a few years, traded it back to the same bike shop, (owned by a friend of his), where it sat in a backroom until he traded something else in and got the bike back about 6 years ago I think. As he's more of a road bike guy, the 24 got little use. I finally convinced him the bike needed to get ridden, hence he should sell it to me! Aside from the tires, seat, and a couple other small parts, the bike is exactly like it was when he first bought it in 1994.
