They are cool to look at, but take up way too much space. I'm on the verge of getting rid of all of them.

yikesyikes - I hear ya tho, I only keep one at home and the rest at work, lol

Wish you weren't so far, I'd drive over and grab them all.  big_smile

Re: Let's start a SCOOTER thread!

I'd like to sell my Miniscoot.  My son has moved on to bigger bikes.  Please PM me with an offer if you are interested.  Thanks

Couldn't help myself, had to add the extra red decals on the "seat stays" like my old Geese
all have.
I replaced the worn out band brake with one off of the web.
I can't seem to get it to have enough tension on the brake lever.
A stouter spring at the brake perhaps?
It also doesn't stop all that well either.
I think it's a 1987?

Can someone give me some guidance on brake cable routing? I only have a rear brake on it. Not sure if caliper is correct. Brake doesn't work well so gotta mess with it tomorrow. This was given to me by friend years ago.

The bracket was for a kick stand. Someone installed a front brake on the rear. You'll need a rear brake, and ignore that cable guide and run the cable directly to the brake. No cable is going to perform well with that tight of a 180 bend.

I really have no idea. I know that DYNO made these scooter well into the 90's. I remember seeing them for sale in bike shops in the early 2000's. I'd say a rear Bulldog brake would serve your purpose quite well.

Gnarly is when it's beyond radical, it's balls out danger, & or perfection, & or skill or all of that combined. Nobody can shred like that guy, he's gnarly.                                        \m/  ( º . º )  \m/
