Do you think people have been hiding stuff just to make a score thread ? LOL that is funny stuff.
If you want I will send you off the phone number of the guy I got my score from...It does happen whether you think so or not. Earlier today a local friend sent me pics of a bike a neighborhood kid was riding. It was an 89 Double Butted ELF with 401's and all kind of other goodies. They are still out there. With the economy still trying to recover you will continue to see more.

Re: Old Penthouse Forums
Well, I have had a few scores myself (Penthouse, and BMXMuseum types),
and they were real. I don't care if anyone believes I found a VDC in the trash,
or a Skyway, or if a PL20II was left outside my garage door for free, or if any of the
Penthouse quality scores were true. They were my scores. I feel bad for the people
that don't score (BMXM or other) and think scores don't happen. They sure do.

Re: Old Penthouse Forums
Hell I just scored a Bandito 24 that used to be a factory racers bike. I was on my way back home from a club meeting and I saw it on the side of my friends house. Has anybody ever seen an inverted Pete's Precision Products stem? I will take pics right now. I think the racers name is Dave. It still has a green stem pad. I need to find the bar and frame pad.

Re: Old Penthouse Forums
Dear bmxmuseum.com ,
I am an older guy , 46 . I haven't rode BMX in a long time . I have 3 bikes in my garage and was wondering if they were worth fixing up ? The first one is a Pink 1985 Haro Master that was my brother's bike . The second one is a Chrome 1983 VDC Gorilla 24" Cruiser and the third a 1986 Hutch Judge . My wife says they're taking up space in our garage and I was wondering if I should sell them ?

Re: Old Penthouse Forums
I was sitting home on a Friday night, when I got a call from a wrong number. I ended up talking to the girl for about an hour, when she invited me over. When I got there................! On my why home the next morning, I found all this NOS BMX stuff on the side of the road. Sweet, double score!

I almost forgot about this one. I stopped a scraper a block away from the scrap yard. It was still in the box!

Re: Old Penthouse Forums
I had a good friend (R.I.P) who actually taught himself to read (in High School none the less) by reading Penthouse Forums. On another note, I "scored" this NOS Pre-Serial Frame and Fork from a local guy who worked for Olson Wire Company in the early 80's and had it stashed under his bed at his mothers house since around 1982. Google Olson Wire and it might add up. I've known him since then, so I had to believe him.

Grammar is important. Capital letters are the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Right next door
A guy a grew up with saw a few of my bikes on Facebook and told me that he had a bike under his bed at his mothers house. Kinda like the story of the little old lady who had the '53 Corvette in her garage that her dead husband left.....
