1992 Brackens Racing Products XL
1992 Brackens Racing Products XL
Rare, never raced,just stored.
Found in my travels to buy something else and this popped up, was ridden to the corner and back by his sister then stored ever since when I happened across it, was a spare bike as his other Brackens was the race bike and thrashed then sold but kept this stored all this time, the original parts were used on his other bikes over the years [damnit!] , T T is 19, serial is " S-035 " as seen in pix
This frame/fork has never had track time, probarly the only one on the planet
Note: I only obtained the frame/fork [NOS?] then started slowly rebuilding, just finished build 11/4/14
'90s flight 180 [rechromed]
90s profile chainwheel,
90s profile stem
'84 Proline bars
80s Arayas [NOS] but faded so refurbished, Sunshine flipflop, Suntour 16
Seat - GT [90s]
GT double clamp
MX1000 - repop
New chain and tyres
Pedals - Odyssey triple trap

Re: 1992 Brackens Racing Products XL
Hi there, found this in my travels and was stored since new after been ridden once down the street then parted out and 20 odd yrs later here it is. But what year and model is it please? Im just guessing going by the stickers on other bikes here and the serial says "S-035" as seen in pix- what does "S" stand for? as oppossed to "X" seen more common for this brand, any info much appreciated.

Ok, but what do you know about the brand? this model? Ive figured out the "S" stands for standard. What attracts you to this frame/brand as I know its rare but to find it NOS after 22yrs - WOW.

Re: 1992 Brackens Racing Products XL
latest updates for the Brackens, NOS Arayas [refurbished as anodising was pale], Sunshine flip flop, 84 Proline bars, 90s profile stem,90s flights [rechromed] Jaguar seat, GT clamp, no pedals as undecided, dont mind as bike was ridden to the corner 22yrs ago and stored away since. I obtained the frame/fork only and project in progress last 8months.......on top of other projects!
