AGREED...so hard to find...

This is the article that made me do proclass rims and bulleye hubs with SS 80/60/80 ga spokes. they were so light. I bent the shit out of the rear and ended up lacing chrome 7x's in place of the proclass. The sad part is I threw the proclass away and they were chrome. sad

Panaracer that look like compIII's. Came stock on a RL 600a. I have only seen one set on a bike on the site.

The Panaracer Knarler Knobby I believe it was (Panaracer used to be called NTKK). They are doing a short run of these in September/October in 20 x 1.75

Good to hear! didnt the NTKK's come on Kuwahara KZ-1's in the early 80's?

BTW Moonster I ordered some Panaracer HP406's from your web site today, good deal for the pair looking forward to put them on a RL-20 II with HP 48's

For me it's a 20" staggered set of black Comp IIs with blue green label, there's some on ebay but I'm not paying $2050.00 so the search continues!

HAHA, I have 2 sets of the 120psi Skid Marks.

For me it is the Hoffman Rotators tires. Saw a shoddy orphan for sale on ebay recently; but I need a PAIR that is ridable.

Re: Hardest TIRES to find

ever since The NOS tires I scored $10.00 each for My Auburn and the NOS ACS RL EDGE one I payed a bite $28.00 for at a bike shop. took a crap as soon as tube/ air was added to them. I stay the hell away from buying NOS tires. the ACS looked awsome soft not dry or showing cracks . but after airing it up. well tube stuck out side wall.mad tire got a small slit in it. spreed when air was added. roll

the comp III NOS  nock offs. well they still have the side nub hairs and tread is full. tires are soft not dry. but add air and side walls  show lots of vain marks frome side wall stiching spread/spliting apart.

hel I scored a miss mached set of NOS SNAKE BELLY tires still had reless agent powder on them. 1 was yellow20X 125 other was Red 20X175 looked awsome in bike shop. but after mounting on some ACS Z rims. well not safe to ride on. good thing they only cost me $8.00 each!

NO MORE NOS TIRES for me.

$200.00 and up for old new tires hmm  WHY???? do it.

Re: Hardest TIRES to find

why??

because there are some things that just make something perfect and complete, like the right set of tires....  and if its not that way, it will bother you until its right.

its not always about the money.

yes but if them Snake Belly tires did cost meor say you more than $8.00 each. only to find out once the bike leaved the bike work stand and sat on floor. the tires wear turning junky right there in front of me/ you!  you can not say you would not feal bad about the money spent on them.

I mean build a high money bike lots of nos yet you can't use it /ride it. then why not just collect pictures of bikes lol you get the same thing a pretty bike to look at but not ride. J/K

I now some people know mater how much it cost just got to have it or ells.
