Hardest TIRES to find

What are the hardest Tires to find?

For me it's a pair of Black CW LOGO tires

I've had a build on hold for the last 8 months wait for those tires

Funny thing 1 month before the build I saw a NOS set

I didn't buy them because I had no plans on a CW build

Of course now nowhere to be found

IRC "bmx racer" tires. The ones that used to come on he Kuwahara KZ completes. Snakebelly design rear with a very different looking front design.

They didn't show up for years and years here or on ebay but all the sudden there were 4 for sale on here and one was a nice Fat/Skinny set. I have a pair on my Sting that are also stamped "Schwinn Approved". I've yet to see another ever with the Schwinn stamping. I had 5 of them but I literally searched the world. Fresh found me a pair in the Netherlands.

Re: Hardest TIRES to find

Mitsubishi Comp 2 in black and yellow Label are very tough to find especially the 1.75 rear. I had 2 fronts and one was NOS which I just sold due to the fact that 1 set is hard enough to complete let alone 2sad ! I thought i had gotten staggered set in a trade but it turned out to be 2 fronts and I am still looking for the rear. I would also put Black w skin wall Cycle Pro snake bellies on that list as well. I do have sets of both of the types mentioned but in blue and have had red as well neither of which do I have a use for LOL! So if anyone has rear of either of these I have $$ and trades waiting! really a skinny snake would work for the comp 2 to make a usable pair.

20" sew-up/tubular tires are definitely hard to locate, but with a little digging one can usually find themselves a set of Panaracer Conqueror's. Now........a complete set of Clement Campestre or Grifo Neve tires is a completely different story. Another one for the list would be 'skin-wall' mini cruiser tires that have a 540 ISO and are 'era correct'.

Ah crap, I have two 1.75's here and no fronts. And mine are black wall, which seams odd but whatever, they're Mitsu's

Panaracer that look like compIII's. Came stock on a RL 600a. I have only seen one set on a bike on the site.

The Panaracer Knarler Knobby I believe it was (Panaracer used to be called NTKK). They are doing a short run of these in September/October in 20 x 1.75
