2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

24" awsomeness!

Such a great bike. Always hated 24" bikes because the geometry seemed really funky and building a Sunday Wave-C was out of the budget. Well worth the wait for these to be in stock again. Been searching for one for about a month now. Great geometry on this thing. Feels like riding a 20".
Replaced the Stolen FL stem with a Hoffman TL 50mm stem to get a little more height on the front end. And I ditched the tiny stock seat post for a polished Shadow Conspiracy 320mm post that I cut down to about 220mm. Sunday Morning 24.1 fork w/ 990 mounts. Odyssey EVO 2 brakes and Mission levers. 25t Redline Device chainwheel. Stolen Thermalite pegs. Odyssey Thunderbolt Cranks.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

Brown Santa in his big brown sleigh dropped of some presents for my bike yesterday. Wish the forks were chrome but oh well, the Sunday's were about $60 cheaper that the chrome S&Ms I was originally looking at.

Yeah, pretty sure I'm gonna use the pink decals instead. :D

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

I just got the same bike . I am definitely going to change out the seat post too. Also, planning on putting taller bars, and a front brake on it. You did a great job on your Saint.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

Nice. And thanks! I LOVE this thing. I just replaced the stock bars with some taller ones. Got some Stolen Cell bars that are 8.65 inches high and 28.5 inches wide. Totally changed the way it handles, for the better!

As it stands now...

Sweet! Are you happy with the long rear brake cable, or do you wish you had a gyro? I was thinking about coming up with an attachment for the use of a gyro.

I thought about drilling it for gyro tabs just to have the option but for now I'm pretty happy just using a long linear cable. Surprised how well the linear cable works.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

1 broken tread tap, 1 headache because of said broken thread tap and a few beers later, I now have a Saint XLT with 100% more gyro tabs!

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

That's Awsome ! I bought the S&M gyro tabs , but haven't attempted to install them yet. I am still torn on drilling or having a bolt on bracket made . I also may try going with front brake only for awhile , and seeing how it is.

If you're good with the work involved, I'd say use the tabs. It wasn't really that bad. Though a bolt-on type deal might be handy.

Anyway, mines all done and working like a champ.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

Went for a cold as hell ride today at the waterfront and got some updated shots. Along with the detangler I added some red Odyssey Thunderbolt cranks.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

Sweet, I like it! What size cranks are they? I have 175 Profile GHD that I was going to install on
my Saint.

Re: 2013 Stolen Saint XLT 24

Thanks, man. And they are 175. I was looking at some profiles but these were on clearance at Dan's for $90 so I snagged them. :D
