Re: Old School Video Games

The hunt is very similar to searching out old BMX, i'm searching flea markets, yard sales and craigslist for dogbone controllers, the original mega man, and even a power glove.

Awesome! I beat contra and super C with no code, took a lot of frustrating memorization. and thanks, I take everything apart and clean out the 80's grime with q tips and toothpicks from every groove and corner.

Re: Old School Video Games

Not home system related but looks cool for anyone in the Chicago area. Just learned of a record store called Logan Hardware. When you make ANY purchase in the record store they offer you free acess to a hidden old school arcade in the back room. Dozens of all the greatest classics and plenty of pinball. I wasnt aware of it until I saw The Evens were playing a show in the back room a couple weeks ago. I havent gone down there yet but plenty of videos on Youtube, looks like a cool way to spend a couple hours.

Is it in Chicago or a sub?  I guess I could Google it but just though I'd ask.  I try to go to Chicago several times a year and would love to stop by.

What system is m.u.l.e. from? looks super old school, when you still had to have a good imagination.

Wow! Man I haven't thought of a Commodore 64 in years!!  That was our first computer ever.  It's amazing how far things have come.

Re: Old School Video Games

I have this Sega Genesis setup if anyone is interested, trade it for bmx stuff. My nephews and then my kids played it, but now it's just taking up space in my closet.
