Re: S&M Intrikat Build-Off 2013
hmm, great idea..I will donate a prize or 2..
Only 16 Intrikats on the site so far.. hmm..

Little more info on the frames, from S&M PAge...
It's been 10 years deep since the Sabbath Frame... one of the most infamous flatland frames that introduced the game to some American quality. The Intrikat is the birth child of that beast, keeping the design and style the same. We had our two flatlanders Chad Johnston and Sean Mckinney butt heads to make this everything but a pretzel.

Re: S&M Intrikat Build-Off 2013
what's wrong with the cranks and hub you have on there? I vaguely remember talking about a spring issue or something on your freecoaster.

Re: S&M Intrikat Build-Off 2013
I'm the same way with my LBS, those dudes are TOP SHELF. When I was about to turn 13, my mom bought me my first top of the line bike to begin racing. I bought the new Haro Group 1, then threw on a Uni Turbo seat, XC2 pedals, B2 grips, DK stem and eventually custom wheels with Bullseye hubs. Raced that day and won my first Novice race. Bobs Cyclery just outside Roseville asked me if I wanted to ride for the team as a Novice since Novice moved up after 5 wins. Gave me back 1/2 the money on my bike and great prices on parts. awesome stand up guy. Then for almost 12 years of road cycling, had what I thought was the sweetest deal anyone non pro could ever ask for. Great team, great shop. But my LBS here are the coolest dudes I have ever met. Always come through with evrything I need/want. Killer deals without asking. I buy everything from them, always will too.
Ummmmm..........Yeah.

Re: S&M Intrikat Build-Off 2013
I was lucky to fund all of my bikes from selling my road bikes and extra wheel sets from road cycling. You would not believe how much dough I got for my 4 bikes, 3 extra sets of wheels and extra tires. Let's just say 5 figures easy for the bikes, then over a grand per set of Mavics. I took very good care of my stuff even though I rode and raced more miles each year than most people drive. It used to be the running joke that my bikes were new each race.
Ummmmm..........Yeah.
