Van Halen was pretty much done by 81/82.

Re: AEROSMITH

Honestly...I do not . I never could get into them . I think " No Quarter " is a f*cking rad song and I love Jimmy Page , especially when he was with the Yardbirds . But I never could get into Plant's vocals and John Entwistle from tje Who was a far better Bass-player and John Bonham...his antics made his legend not unlike Keith Moon who was brilliant if not a bit f*cked up but on a genius and playful level .

Re: AEROSMITH

^^^ More of a biased Who-fan opinion , but The Who were horrible past 1973's " Quadrophenia " , one of my favorite albums of all-time . cool

Not a huge fan either. I like some of Plant's newer stuff but from that era I'm all about Black Sabbath (pre 76) and Deep Purple (pre 74)

Re: AEROSMITH

They were good up until they sold out making music for movies.
Joe Perry is still a good guitar player though

Sammy was definitely a better fit than that "hey, look at me, I still think I can dance on stage, but am an absolute embarrassment" David Lee Roth

Re: AEROSMITH

Sure, we all listened to most of these bands 25 years ago, but they all pretty much suck now. My old friends talk about going to see Van Halen and the Rolling Stones, etc., and I just kind of laugh. There are some really cool bands out there to see I just can’t imagine paying $200 to see some old man dancing around thinking he’s 25 again. Buy the DVD, some beer and pot and stay home. Or better yet, buy some new music.

Re: AEROSMITH

I paid 35 dollars to see Motley Crue in 2005 and 40 to see Def Leppard later that summer. The shows were decent but I wouldn't have paid any more than that. I also paid 60 to see Pearl Jam that summer and would have paid triple that...

Perfect then we can put Steve Perry as Vocalist of Van Halen and create a new " Dynasty " .
