1983 Haro Freestyler

The one that started it all.

First, I want to thank Mr. Haro for taking his design and bringing it alive. Freestyle just wouldn't have been the same without him. Secondly, I want to thank my good friend Mat (Streetfreak) for passing this bad boy along. I'm really a race guy at heart, but I think this one makes a beautiful addition to anyone's collection. I'm very proud to own this piece of Freestyle history!

Again, another great bike. I guess it's really easy to forget that you post great bikes and not just great avatars?  Sweet ride

Re: 1983 Haro Freestyler

My freestyle buddies kept busting my balls and telling me this was just a race bike without having a front brake. Well, I finally put a front brake on it and it only took this race guy a day to do it (a half day to find a right brake handle and the other half to install the front brake. tonguelol

Re: 1983 Haro Freestyler

What a beautiful bike, Dave.  Did you win with this at Albe's?  Flip and Hoffman were taking a goooood long look at it before winners were announced.
