2012 Sunday Wave-C 24

The Halloween Machine - built from MeltonsCycleShop.com!

I first came into contact with one of these (a Model C) on one of our NC-boys group rides about a year ago when member JTinNC let me cruise around the parking lot on his. I remember thinking, "Man this thing is a 4x4 on 2 wheels!". I wanted one immediately.

Then, about two months later, I rode macr0w's Model C for the entirity of another group ride. I felt like I could roll over anything. A real tank of a bike. Strong and solid. I thought "I have to get one of these".

As I thought about the build, I settled on two goals: I wanted to build the bike using all Sunday and Odyssey parts - I wanted to order all the parts from from Melton's to help him showcase his new shop.

A year later, with all the planning done, I asked 77rider to order all the parts through his shop, MeltonsCycleShop.com. After a super deal and a weeks wait, I had it all in my hands.

I enjoyed building it and it's quickly become my favorite bike. It's light, tough as nails and black as a witch. It really does feel like you are riding a 20", but the 24" wheels roll so much better.

A huge "THANKS" goes out to Lenny (77rider) and MeltonsCycleShop.com for the serious hook-up. Great deals there for sure. Check him out, you won't be disappointed!

More pics are in the comments section. Thanks for looking. Enjoy!
