1987 CW Racing Pro-Motion 24
Unique CW Pro Motion
’87 CW Pro Motion Cruiser with a collection of new and old school parts. The frame (PMC074) is unlike any other Pro Motion I’ve seen. Parts include: CW cruiser bars, 1st generation dk stem, ame grips, tech 77 lever, dia compe mx 900 brakes, ukia rims with 80s gt sealed low flange hubs, suntour xcII pedals with crupi cages, new profile cranks with sealed bottom bracket and rennen sprocket, new z chain, NOS viscount aero seat with NOS tange chrome fluted seat post, and old school hutch full radius donut clamp. Super clean!

Let me be the first to comment. Love what you've done with the CW. I have not seen to many CW cruisers and yours is stunning! Nice work.

Nice no gusset on the head tube either. Rare?

And the head tube is not machined. It's very odd, but the geometry looks right and the dropouts and brake bridge are the same as others I've seen.

I have the bmx action test issue for that bike. They switched the cruiser bars to the cw standard said it made all difference for bigger riders, let me know how it rides with the cruiser bars, i got the standard bars on mine.

It actually seems to ride okay with the cruiser bars. I was originally planning on using an inverted stem as well, but I was afraid it would position the bars too far down. Now, the seat is actually quite a bit lower than I like. I just put it there to appease everyone here. If I were to jack it up another 3-4", I'd probably need the pro bars. They seem to look fairly normal on yours.

Yep same goes here. Just picked up a frame and would love to see the old test issue.
Feeling Bossy. Now how about a beat national pro or whitebear cruiser or panda 26 pro-am raider for a new restore project.

Great cruiser. Lovin' the 1st gen DK stem!!! Thinking about putting a DK on the Floval I'm building now. Terry, I'm so happy to see that you continued to stay in the world of BMX. As you know it has always been a passion of mine since back in the days. Your bikes are just amazing!!! And I have to say.... the floors in your house are just as cool!!!! Not sure if you remember but my Mom kept hers just like that. Glossy and shiny. All around awesome man!!!!
