1976 Rampar R10

'76 Rampar R10

This was my first old school BMX bike. This was the bike that got me into it.  I picked this up at a swap meet for 30 bucks. It was the only BMX there and it caught my eye. I took it home and cleaned it up. I rode this to school everyday and would go ride to a track in my friends backyard and race with a bunch of other kids. This bike and my friends shiny Torker were always neck and neck. I still have have my home-made raceplate. The bike is built with all steel components and it weighs a ton. We used to call it "The Tank". Going off jumps, you knew this bike wouldn't brake underneath you. I wiped out a lot racing, and the bike held itself together fine, but if it landed on you, it would tear you to pieces. The bike preformed great racing. I really like the way the old school box bars handle, the bike rode/rides great.

Still want a matching pair of Kenda MX 20x2.125 tires, get the bars neck chainguard and fork repainted, and get a gooseneck pad for it

This was my first bike too! I got it new on the last day of 5th grade. It was stolen 2 months later out of the shed. That day sucked.
