Without knowing him, knowing that he was that good of a friend to you Pete i am sure he was a great man of character and will be sorely missed by many.

I feel for you, yours and his brother.

Damn man.  So sorry to hear about this.  Best advice I can give is to focus on your family.  Cory's gonna need you.  As hard as that was for you to experience, imagine trying to process that at his age.  I'll call you tomorrow.

Re: R.I.P. Jason Wetherhold, Roadkill Bicycles

I read about this on facebook from the bike company. I had no idea that you were there Pete! I am very sorry for you, that you had to witness that and have that in your brain and heart forever. I agree with the others, God put you there for a reason. Know that Jason's last thoughts on this earth were riding with close freinds and having you by his side as he passed. I will pray for you and your family.

Re: R.I.P. Jason Wetherhold, Roadkill Bicycles

sad stuff. been there, and there isn't much people can do or say to make it right or feel any better. I found myself listening to this a lot after I had lost a friend of mine a few years ago. I'm taking a risk here but hopefully it helps somehow. still kinda chokes me up when I hear it now.

Re: R.I.P. Jason Wetherhold, Roadkill Bicycles

Ride in peace Jason. That's a tough one. I had a similar incident with a motocross accident. Scared me straight. I'll never ride without a cell phone again. Nothing worse then feeling helpless. As your trying to help in a situation that is out of any of our hands. And any one involved in extreme sports... Please take or refresh your CPR training. I can not stress it enough.

When I'm not riding BMX my other ride is a Husaberg FE 390.
