1988 Haro Team Master

Call it a "Resto-Mod-Survivor". I had to have another pink one, but I liked the 88 graphics better.

I had one: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=315156
And it wasn't until I looked it and found this site did I realize that it was one of five.
I had to rebuild, a very personal journey: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=426965
The frame is new to me, and the I replaced the cranks with a similar set to what I had previously destroyed. Otherwise, everything else down to the Tubes and brake cables has been with me since the old days. Some parts since 1986. It is already in my will that I am to be buried with this one.

They are Tioga roll ons with the roller part of the end long busted off. They are threaded and have a hole in them that you slide a screwdriver through to tighten instead of a wrench.

Here's a set that recently sold:

Slide a screwdriver through that hole and twist til tight. The plastic caps at the are what broke off mine.

I dig it, man.
I like that it's not all stock. Looks like a bike that someone rides...or would have rode back in the day.

Except for the Cranks, Grips and rear brake (broke on reassembly) they are all my old rider parts. Down to the tubes.
