Rini's is closed

I regret to inform Ginni Rini passed away in an accident a week ago. Even if you haven't done business with her, you probably have heard of her site or may be aware of her vast knowledge and inventory of old school parts. She ran her bike shop for over 40 years, and with her web site served 1000's of old school BMX collectors world wide.  I got to know Ginny personally as I spoke with her on a regular basis for over 10 years and spent some time at her shop most recently about a month ago. She had a true love and passion for bicycles in general, and took great pride in doing all the local service work her shop took in. I know she will be missed by many within the old school BMX community

That is sad news.  Does anyone know how old she was?  Tragic at any age regardless...

Man, and that thread just the other day with everyone dogging her. Just to think, she was on her death bed when all that ill words were being written. Sad news, never dealt with her personally, never heard anything good said about her either.

Re: Rini's is closed

Very sad to hear this news, what a tragic way to pass. I never once had a problem with Ginny, she was always professional and if there was a mistake always made it right. I feel like we all lost our BMX Grandma, God be with you Ginny.
