If I didn't have one and was wanting to get into the 22" game I would be waiting for Steve to sell one of those, both his Holmes are badass!

Re: 22's Go Here

I've thought about this 22" shit. And, near as I can figure....I can ride a 20" or a 24"" just fine. I think it's a gimmick. (not to seagull turd on your thread man!).

Re: 22's Go Here

I disagree. I'm a cruiser guy with a few 20's. But I feel like sometimes the twenty's are a little too small when I want to do sine stylin but the 24"s are too big. I don't have one yet but definitely considering building one. The best of both smooth ride but nimble enough to through around.

Looking a set of Tioga Monoblock pedals. Also looking for a UFO Pro 24.

Re: 22's Go Here

It does seem like a gimmick when you think about it, but as soon as you throw your leg over one you will see that its no gimmick at all. Its hard to explain but its like the best of a 20" and the best of a 24" all wrapped up in one bike that just feels natural. cool

+1 im a big guy and 20s are nice to ride but i feel like im over powering them when i try any tricks, and on the trails i ride the 24 was too big to try anything, but i grabbed a 22 holmes and as son as i sat on it i knew that this was the perfect fit, i have know tried things i have never tried, it has just enough weight that i dont feel like im over powering it, and it fit on the trails!!! with some small tweeks since i have had it it now rides ride AWSOME!!! you really need to try one just to feel the differance

This is the result of selling a GT Performer, stealing parts from three of my other bikes, and then swapping out a few items as I can.  I have a couple of older S&M bars that may be swapped to see which one feels the best as the Hoder bars are not a good fit for me on this bike.  Still trying to decide on a good pedal unless I can find a longer set of pins for the odyssey pedals.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.

Re: 22's Go Here

I am spoiled after riding the older Demolition team pedals.  I wish I could find another set in black, but the oddball colors or white are the only ones left.  I have had bad luck painting pedals, but I am tempted to try again.

Re: 22's Go Here

What about the Odyssey JCPC pedals? They aren't heavy and have replaceable bodies so you can switch up colors. They're the only pedals I've run since I got back into riding a year and a half ago
