Looking to get the wheels built up next but waiting to come across some Profiles (LHD) that aren't your run of the mill basic sheit. Also any recommendations for a real comfortable fat pivotal seat. Planning on switching out the stem and sprocket as well.

Yes those are DX clips so I can maintain average speed over distances.

Bigfoot pegs in case someone needs a ride along the way.

Harp, I want to tell you something. I was in this bureau when you were still popping zits on your funny face and jerking off with the lingerie section of the Sears catalog....

Re: 22's Go Here

Comfortable and pivotal do not go together.  Stealth is a bit more comfortable than your typical pivotal.  I still prefer the old railed Odyssey seats.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.

Re: 22's Go Here

I've got a few Haro fat pivotals that are good for cruzin.

Most comfy Odyssey pivotal I've had is the Aitkin

Re: 22's Go Here

I built one of the first 22" Holmes when they came out, and like an idiot, I got rid of it.
I just jumped back into the 22" game with a General Lee (I love orange bikes) and although it's ridable, I'll still be changing a lot more parts on it.
I'll try to get a decent pic of it and get it posted in here.
if anyone here decides they want to let go of a 22 Holmes, lmk, I can also really use some chrome 22" 990 mount forks

Remember....if everyone came to a bike show without a bike, it would just be a bunch of dudes standing around in a park...and that's just creepy!  If you've got one, bring one.  -Me

I had one of the first Holmes 22s and could never get comfortable with it, so I let it go super cheap.  Fast forward to a few months ago and I picked up a Fit Twenty Two in trade for a Big Ripper that was just too big for me.  The 22 doesn't feel as awkward after riding a bunch of 24 and 26" bikes for the last year.  The only thing I miss about my Holmes is the look of it.  I'm not a huge fan of Chrome, so I wished it would have been the raw clear-coat version.
Saw your post on Facebook in the 22 Riders group.  The General Lee looks good.

Thanks bud!
I didn't mind the ride of it, but didn't ride it a ton to be honest.  When I sold it, it was like a new bike still.  I loved the midschool look of it and would love to have it back.  Thanks for the compliment on the DK.  It's not the highest quality frame but it is full cromoly and more than good enough for what I'm able to throw at it.  I'll still be switching most of the remaining black parts to chrome or polished. I'm thinking about buying a fit as well just for kicks because they aren't very expensive.
I'm really hoping to find some 990 chrome 22" forks for my buddy, so if anyone knows of any, please LMK.

2018 PDC 22" General Lee. I had Dave build this frame to resemble the first year 1997 Dk general lee frame. I've had the frame for 2 years now and finally got the time to build it up. https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/215002/20200121_1043005e27279501.jpg

Yes Dave does!! I almost didnt wanna paint the frame when I first got it. The welds and everything looked so good in raw form.

cool yeah it's been a few years since I had my 22s and I was thinking they didn't do the 22" forks in chrome with 990 mounts.  They did, but only in the straight leg version.  What I really wanted was the tighter offset ones with 990 mounts and they didn't do those as regular production.  They told me they could do them as a custom, but not in chrome.

After looking it up the combo I wanted, and they never made, was the widemouth with 26mm offset and 990 mounts.  They offered to do a set as custom, but don't do any custom orders in chrome.
