Let's see ... Dr. J, Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins, etc... sorry, couldn't resist. lol
Honestly, I learned about FA's here in the Museum. Never saw one BITD.
I did see a recent thread w/ a bunch of kids riding OS BMX bikes in Alki beach, Seattle.
One sported a Free Agent. tongue lol

Re: 80s Free Agents only

Owl - That's one killer looking FA! Lovin' the color combo and looks great with the older stickers too. Here's a pic with my first cruiser BITD circa '88 age 13.

Owl your F/A is sweet!  I really dig that blue color the best.  Love the Jax hubs!  ...very cool.  cool

Here's mine... it's an 87 original chrome frame/fork.  I rushed putting this together last year just so I could have something to ride and pull my son's baby trailer with.  But I am in the process of changing it up.  I now have black comp 3 tires, bullseye hubs on my mix-matched Ukais, Uni Turbo number plate, KKT Lighting pedals and I'm still looking for pads.  I'll post new pics when I get it done.  But here are some old pics from last year...

I cant believe the finish on that frame and fork.

Yes it was! I bought it from an older kid (19) that was on his family vacation at the beach. He saw me cruise by on my ELF and instantly we started talking BMX and went riding for the rest of the day. He was done racing and asked if wanted to buy it for 250, I was all-over-it...

Re: 80s Free Agents only

Here's the one that Joe brought to the Alki beach ride
http://wedontsavelives.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/img_0496_adj.jpg

Free Agents came along shortly after I drifted away from BMX, I had picked on the significance of their race bike in regards to bringing some new geometry to the race scene.  Seeing this bike in person drove me to go do some more research about the freestyle side of Free Agent.

I recently added a Free Agent cruiser to my stable, but it's a few year too new for this thread neutral
