1985 Haro Master
1985 Haro Master
My baby from 1985!
This was my freestyle bike from when I was 15 years old. I'll neve forget seeing the ads for it and seeing Dave Nourie doing the "Gumby" on one....I had to have it! Oddly enough, I had just recieved a pink GT Pro Performer F/F from Rockville, I believe. I sent the GT back and ordered the neon green Master F/F! I have kept this since then. It was never outside in a shed, etc. I always kept it in the attic. I got the bike out about 2 years ago. I couldnt believe how it had faded and there was a little rust and scratches all over it. I started reading online about possibly restoring it. That's when I found Chip at C4. My original intent was to restore the F/F [which was all that was left], and flip it on Ebay for a nice price. I couldnt bring myself to do it. Not only did I keep it and buy all new parts to build it, this bike is responsible for me starting my collection of my holy grails and becoming a member on here! I'll never forget freestyling on this thing! I'm so glad I kept/restored it.
And you'll pick me up how, on that dumb bike? Yeah!

What a beauty! You are so darn lucky that you kept it all of these years.
Don't do tomorrow what you can do today.
