1979 Centurion TK

Found this on Hard Rubbish and after a couple of years sitting in the shed it was given a make over.....

1979 Centurion TK (Kiozumi frame)
Tange 1200 Forks  (1980)
Suntour Head stem
DC MX seat clamp
Original Faun F1 style grips
Dia Compe Brake with Shimano Lever
Tioga Compe 3 tires with gold araya copies
Sugino Gold Chain wheel with a shimano free wheel.
Gold Rat trap pedals.

I've had the frame and handle bar painted by Pete Maggs (BMX Madman) and if you have seen his work you know its top notch!
The forks and cranks were done by Nunawading Electroplating in Oakliegh.
The Tange Decals were original while the Centurion decals were done by Glynn Hicks.

The inspiration to restore this bike came after a trip to BMXPO last year and seeing a Centurion on display.....my bike had been sitting in the shed for a few years in a sorry state.

Re: 1979 Centurion TK

Not sure why this has been changed.......It's a CENTURION. Even has it on the fades decals!

Re: 1979 Centurion TK

Nice restoration buddy, I've got the same year frame, need to get my hands on some decals. Any chance you can get me in touch with the right person etc...?
