1985 Redline 800P

Sweet survivor 800 Proline Racer......

Scored this '85 800 Proline not too long ago. I've always liked these 800's and they are really tough to find. I was pretty stoked to get it.

This needed quite a bit of cleaning and greasing. Seat was broke on it so I replaced it. Chain was shot as well. The brake cable was kaput. After all that I put it back together and it rides great. A true survivor with paint chips, battered decals but a ton of life left in it.
Parts include....
Redline Forklifter Race Bars
Redline Forklifter/Suntour Stem
Redline 175 Flight Cranks/44t Chainwheel
Redline Seat Post
Ukai Shiny Sides W/ Suzue Hubs
Kashimax Aero Seat
Suntour Seat Clamp & Pedals
Izumi Chain
A'ME Grips
Tange Headset, BB & Headlock

I wanted that bike so bad.  Probably the best real (Kastan) Redline racer ever made.

Re: 1985 Redline 800P

Bikes like these are symbolic to me as my golden era of BMX...factory teams were still in full force, and I was still racing and reading BMXA. Still Flight Cranks are my choice drive train and recently got into the Forklifter Bars! cool
