1997 Redline RL 444 24

Always loved Redlines and like the squarebacks so when I came across this it was a no brainer.

All the research I did says it's a 97 even though most i see are 99's. When I got it it was full of blue spray paint and rust. After a weekend with Barkeepers Friend and parts cleaner it turned out like this! Decided to go with the Proline stickers they were always my favorite. I wanted to do a Redline and found this during the spring time and worked on it most of the summer while I was waiting for my Skyway 24. It will never be a show bike nor would i want it to I only build riders and i think this one turned out pretty good.

Re: 1997 Redline RL 444 24

I saw a squareback 24 for sale right after I bought my PL and thought "should I have bought that instead...very cool". I like your square back. I love seeing mid / new school cruisers with old school flavor.

Old School BMX bike collecting is a hobby and New School Retro BMX bike riding is a hobby. Respect the part of the hobby I enjoy and I'll promise to respect and even compliment the part of the hobby you enjoy. Disrespect what I like and I'll disrespect you...simple enough right?
