Re: 1987 General Blood Pro

Nice bike!

Your bike brings back memories for me. Back in the summer of 1987, the General Freestyle Team did a show in a nearby town and a buddy of mine actually bought one of Fred Blood's personal General bikes from him. Fred sold it to him right out of the trailer! It was blue and chrome and had some prototype parts on it, namely an RL freecoaster rear hub. The bike is long gone, but I still have the front chrome Peregrine HP 48 from that bike as well as that RL rear hub. I dropped off the rear 48 to have a new hub laced into it (the RL hub was crap, to be polite) and the shop went out of business not long after, so I "lost" the rear HP 48 hoop.

I wish I had a bike from one of the pros.  You are so lucky.  Guard that thing with your life and never let it go. Amazing!!

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness............-Emo Philips
