1979 Schwinn Sting

One of only a few Golden Yellow Stings ever made. Maybe the only survivor in the country?

Re: 1979 Schwinn Sting

Amazing build on a very important and rare piece of Sting history!! What even makes this Sting even better is that it's in the hands of a key member of the "Sting Family" who always goes out of his way to help other members get their Stings rolling again. Thanks for sharing Nick!

Steve (Nevets)

P.S. - you have one of those even more elusive green Stings hiding in the wings for us yet?big_smile

Re: 1979 Schwinn Sting

Pretty amazing piece of history. My teen years were spent racing BMX and working in a Schwinn shop. We sold our share of Schwinn BMX line up and never even know about a yellow Sting!coolcoolcool

This bike is a true beauty.  I didn't know they came in yellow, either.  How cool!  smile
