1988 Haro Invert

1988 Haro Invert

I got ripped off...

Sold: 2012-10-??
I saw this frame and fork on eBay and the bids were low.  I got them both for around $83 and lucked out by being able to pick them up locally.  It had been heavily packed for shipping and I couldn't see the real damage that was never disclosed.  It started life at Haro as and Invert but was factory stickered as an FST - so I turned it into a Sport smile.  In the end I was able to save it but it took three years to find the time to start working on it.  Now that I have it I couldn't be happier with it and loved the way it turned out.  See the short restoration thread of this bike here:

Re: 1988 Haro Invert

I'm loving this bike, you've done an amazing job!
Instant Fav!

I've only just got into this bmx collecting and building and already addicted.
My first purchase was a 84 Haro Sport which I later discovered was an 88 Invert (ripped off big time) so just in the process of taking it back to its original colours, decals and parts.
The guy must have seen me coming but it's all a learning curve.
Should have mine up on here in the next couple of weeks.

Ambition is critical !
