1997 GT Performer
1997 GT Performer
SOLD 4-29-17
1997 GT Performer, built in late 96, sold as a 97
I bought it on ebay in 2008 from Colorado, it was all original in great shape
I bought some touch-up paint for the nicks, not bad at all
I removed the old stickers and put on 1985 ones
I wanted it to look old but it's still mid school
Things I've done......
Dominator seat (Porkchop)
Chainwheel & Power disc (Porkchop)
A'me grips (ebay)
GT Forkstanders (ebay)
Wellgo pedals (from my Dad)
Skull donuts (ebay)
KMC chrome & black chain (ebay)
Blue valve stem dice (Dudd's Dice-ebay)
Odyssey Frequency G skinwall tires 1.75 (danscomp)
GT padset....The handlebar and stem pads wouldn't fit....they are repops.
I hope you like it.

Re: 1997 GT Performer
Very nice build. I'm really digging the old school decals on the mid school frame, its like paying homage. Nice bike man I like it!!!

Re: 1997 GT Performer
Thank you very much. That's what I was going for. I'm still searching for a mid 80's GT. I have an 86 Performer frame, but nothing else. Later!

Re: 1997 GT Performer
Looks to be in excellent shape. I'll probably try tan side walls on mines next.

You've got good taste. The bike looks great.
Good job!
You don't HAVE to build every frame and fork you own... right?
