Base Brooklyn Camo Padsets: Anyone interested in reissues?

Checking the demand for Enos from Base. He's a local and someone that goes back with me and the NY/LI crowd. I asked him about camo padsets and he said that he has someone that would do them, but only if he orders 50-75 sets. Is anyone interested in buying them if he were to do a run?

This is just a feeler on his behalf to gauge interest from Museum members. No promises that it will get done at this point, but it is a distinct possibility if there is enough interest.

Re: Base Brooklyn Camo Padsets: Anyone interested in reissues?

I have a NOS set of them and love 'em (black/white print). I had some of the originals (single color print) but sold them to Kid718. If they were reasonably priced I would definately pick up another set.

one of my all time favorite padsets!

Only if they were spelled with bkny like other new items so the old stuff doesn't get diluted. I have an old set waiting for the right trail boss project to come along.

Would be hard to refuse, but yes some subtle difference please!
Currently running an og TT pad on my modern trailboss, anyone have a loose cross bar pad floating around?
I probabaly know 5 people that would buy them also, given the price is reasonable.

Enos has an original set on one of his bikes in his shop in Port Jefferson. I think--don't hold me to this, though--the price would be similar to those Confederate Flag/Rebel Flite pads that were done a few years ago: $20ish?

At around $20, I would probably grab a set.

Do I owe you feedback? Please remind me via PM and I'll take care of it.

Re: Base Brooklyn Camo Padsets: Anyone interested in reissues?

If they are in the $20 range, I would buy three sets.  One for my bike, one for a friend, and a third just in case.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.

Re: Base Brooklyn Camo Padsets: Anyone interested in reissues?

I collect them (so I'm interested in any og pads anyone has), so I wouldn't be so high on seeing new ones.  If they do make them, I agree with the BKNY thing.

I'll ask Enos about the style when I hear from him.

Re: Base Brooklyn Camo Padsets: Anyone interested in reissues?

I don't recall when the original ones were released. As far as the new ones, I haven't heard an update from Enos, but I also haven't spoken to him since August. He also had a heart attack around the Christmas holidays and has been recuperating since then. I'll be contacting him again, soon, to see what he thinks about the re-issue pad sets. The starting # that a potential vendor gave him was the sticking point when this was first visited.
