The older models are much heavier because they are chromoly , and as for the fishing the wire Ive tried it and FAILED miserably lol usually wind up scratching the hell out of the paint job

I gotcha on the failing part of it. It took me several frustrating attempts, but I got. I'm stubborn like that though. lol If I know it should work...Damn it. It's going to work. tongue

Oh yeah...Killer bikes posted by everyone. Makes me want to get another one or two.

Best way to replace cables is keep the original in there until finished , then tape the old housing to the new housing with duct tape and pull the new housing through . that always worked for me . otherwise its a huge headache i know !

That's a damn good idea smile

Bruce Lee "Enter The Dragon" tribute wink 1999 Specialized Fatboy Hemi Comp 24. I've had this frame for a few years now and thought I'd share it once I saw the Specialized thread.  Previous owner did the custom 3 stage paint work  smile  The green w/ blue pearl is a pretty cool color.

Re: How about a Specialized thread!!!

For a long time I didn't think they made extra pads for Fatboys. After 4 months I finally got my hands on a pair. Would rather have Black trust me. Looks like they came in Leopard, Zebra, & Black. Originally $14.99
