Still be keeping a keen eye out for the discerning bike thieves that know their gear... In the meantime, rock n roll! Is the seat like a Brooks Brothers kind of seat or what exactly is a "messengers" seat? Looks damn cool IMHO.

I had one of them fixed up as my winter commuter. A bit heavy, but combined
with studded tires, she kept me upright! I miss that bike!!!

Thanks Bigpoppa wheelie. Agreed, the Baja's are a heavy rigs but built like tanks.. Mine is now enjoying it's fifth NYC winter and holding strong!

I lived in NYC for a couple years and appreciate the "beat by racks and chains" patina. When i moved back to Seattle I actually built a 26" cruiser as an homage. I customized the finish to have that "beat" look to it.
