Re: Who remembers Poor Boy?

Sorry to dig this old thread up.
When I was racing back in 1996 I had a blue and orange poor boy jersey.
When I did an order with Dans I think I got 2 pairs of shorts,
I think an Indian air shirt and I think a your sucks shirt all Poorboy.

I would also be very interested in purchasing any poorboy shirts if you we're to remake them.

Cheers.

Re: Who remembers Poor Boy?

My friend was wearing a Poor Boy shirt the other day while we were working on bikes. I may have an old catalog somewhere in my house. I would wear the Penniless and Proud shirt as well as many others if you ever decide to remake the old or start all over with new designs.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.

Re: Who remembers Poor Boy?

I used to have a couple of shorts and more shirts. This is all that survived from the mid 90s.

I've been away from the Museum for a month or so but I haven't forgotten this thread. I'm still considering reissuing a couple of the popular shirts in small numbers. May even make some new ones at some point, too. You never know.  wink

Since you bought the "company" what have you done with it?

Why does it seem like such a big decision to remake some stuff.

Make the stuff, and see what happens, I bet you'd be surprised. Don't just stand around.

Why not? Enos @ Base Brooklyn has had a resurgence over the past couple of years and has a considerable amount of space at a local shop on Long Island.

There's no need to be snyde. I purchased the company in the 1990s and made LOTS of shirts/shinguards/shorts/padsets/wallets/etc. smile I operated the company for the 2nd half of it's "original" life. I've done plenty with it, thanks. tongue

It's a big decision for lots of reasons. The money isn't really an issue, it's other things. First, being able to put the time and effort into it right now isn't as easy as it was when it was my full-time job. i've got two jobs right now. I don't want to make shirts again unless I can devote a certain amount of time to the effort and do it right. Have time to post them here. Have time to answer questions. Have time to ship them out. As some of you have noticed, I haven't been on the museum regularly for the past few months. I've got real-life stuff going on that's keeping me pretty busy. Jobs, family, life. I check in here regularly but haven't been posting/buying/selling because I haven't had the time to invest.

I appreciate all the support this thread has gotten and I'm flattered and honored that so many of you remember Poor Boy so fondly. I would very much like to give you all what you'd like and give you the chance to buy a few t-shirts. I know that day will come. Just not sure how soon. But who knows? It may be soon. wink

Re: Who remembers Poor Boy?

While "White Trash" was also a brand distributed through Sandbox/Poorboy, it wasn't affiliated with PoorBoy. Totally separate company but also owned by Steev (PoorBoy's creator.)

Not being snyde, just truthfull.

Why all the "indecision"?

You all ready know the answer to whether you will or won't.

I hope you bring ALL the P.B. stuff back, I will be first in line.

Re: Who remembers Poor Boy?

I'm still trying to find the shin pads that got stolen from me. They don't look like any of the designs posted on here. They had what looked like an explosion in white with the PB in the middle. I want a pair again sssoooooo bad.
