Like i said, it was a spray bomb police auction bike.  the forks are 89 or later.

Well, you cant tell the difference.  At least not in the d-tour, compe set up.  Neither the later years, air, comp.  The only thing the serial number will tell you is the year it is and the production number.  Was the number ground off?  It should be on the bottom bracket or rear drop out....somewhere.

YES THE SERIAL # WAS GROUND OFF, I WISH I COULD TELL WHAT KIND OF DYNO IT IS. IT WAS CHROME BUT I KNOW THAT WANT HELP OUT ON IDENTIFING IT. I GOT IT OFF EBAY LAST WEEK AND THE GUY SAID WHEN HE BOUGHT IT THAT THE DECALS WERE ALREADY OFF OF IT...I GUESS I GOT A NO NAMER HUH LOL....THANKS FOR THE INPUT ON THIS MATTER THOUGH.....
