1981 Mongoose Kos Kruiser

Almost a complete survivor...

Everything on this bike is original to it with a few exceptions. I added a few parts to this after I stole it from my good buddy Paul (bmxghostrider). I'm still waiting for him to realize it is missing from his collection. I added the Winner's Choice Mongoose labeled tires, a red Dirt Skirt, some DC cable clamps and the red Mongoose pad set to complete this. Everything else is original to the bike. Highlights include:

Stainless steel KOS bars Original BMX Products Mongoose grips Original Gold Stem Red anno DC calipers and levers Mongoose stamped suede saddle Mongoose stamped BB, seat clamp, OPC, chain ring and headset Araya 26 x 1.75 red anno wheels with Shimano hubs (rear has a cassette freewheel)
The original finish on the frame, fork, bars and stem is incredible and the decals on the entire bike are original and still in great shape. I still find it hard to believe what great shape this is in for a 30 year old bike...

It rides sooooo nice, I have a hard time ridin' the ol' 20 inchers now. Come visit and you can take it on the boardwalk. Hope the family is doing well bud,

Love this bike Oscar! Can't believe the condition it's in. She's a keeper!
