1987 Haro Group 1 RS1

First year and model with the U brake

*Sold
The last picture show the exact condition in which I received it from the original owner and the last race bike of Mike Guttin. It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with him and hearing some tales of "the good old days". Brought back a lot of memories and great to hear from a rider that rode with the best of them.
This was one of the bikes on my wish list back in the day, and I'm happy to have had it, especially with a great history.
I have changed a few things since I got this beauty, I tried to get it a little closer to stock except for a couple things which I would've changed if I had it BITD. Check out the new pics.

Re: 1987 Haro Group 1 RS1

Love this bike. Reminds me of the lower-spec RS3 I had, though this is clearly in a different league!  Very cool and an instant fave!

Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite and 2011 Crupi race rig, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates.
