My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."

Sterling Schwinn Bike Shop, not sure of the address. It is on 16 mile Rd in Troy/Sterling Heights, MI. Saw my first high quality BMX bike in that shop back in '85 and from then, on, I was hooked.

Rockville BMX- In Rockville MD, not sure when it closed. It was owned by a guy named Jay I believe, and if I'm not mistaken, Spike Jonz used to build bikes there. When I was a kid, I thought it was the coolest place on earth. Bring it back Jay!
+1 for Rockville BMX - kind of a hike so my parents would rarely take me there.

Re: List your OLD SCHOOL BMX Bike Shop Here
I seem to remember a team out of Media or maybe it was Kent Gordy that lived there. I'm thinking Soma (ran red/yellow Griffs leathers) was out of Media. Do you go back far enough to remember the Lakeview Amusement Park NBL track?
