Last time I was in there the owner had quite a collection of old frames on the wall and a couple complete old school builds on display.

I remember FAIRWOOD CYCLE in Renton, WA real well. They sold a TON of CW's, and Chuck Hooper's son Craig was co factory CW. A few of my old neighborhood buddies raced on the shop team in the early/mid 80's. Chuck is now president of Seattle Bike Supply which owns Redline, Torker, etc...
Here's a few of my old favorites:
PRE BMX, Issaquah, WA
BIKEFACTORY, Bellevue, WA
THE INSIDE LINE, Federal Way, WA
THE BIKE GALLERY, Portland, OR

Re: List your OLD SCHOOL BMX Bike Shop Here
THE PEDDLERS SHOP TROTWOOD OHIO! Was owened by DICK (RICHARD) CROSS He started alot of the bmx tracks and in 1983 He lost the shop and commited sucide by cutting a hole in the bottom of the shop van and ran the fumes up into it. He was a great guy and loved BMX and helped Hundreds Of kids get started into a great sport. He is missed.

Rockville BMX- In Rockville MD, not sure when it closed. It was owned by a guy named Jay I believe, and if I'm not mistaken, Spike Jonz used to build bikes there. When I was a kid, I thought it was the coolest place on earth. Bring it back Jay!

Re: List your OLD SCHOOL BMX Bike Shop Here
Hank & Frank for me, too. 14th St and Lake Park Ave in Oakland. Dealer for Mongoose, Cook Bros., and soon Haro. Me & all my buds carried papers for the Oakland Tribune and spend all the money we earned on anodized bits from H&F.
Also could custom order Vans shoes through them, any panels you wanted. For my birthday in 7th grade (1981) I ordered brown camo toes, green camo heels, blue checker outsides and red checker insides... and ended up with the most obnoxious shoes McChesney Jr. High had ever seen.
H&F is on College Ave now, still in Oakland, and pretty much the go-to BMX shop in the East Bay. They carry Redline, Haro, and Giant, and stock nice new school bits like Dive Bars and S&M pedals and 3/32 chains and Odyssey cables.
I still remember the smell of the snakebellies & the vinyl pads & the grease.
What the hell's an Aluminum Falcon?

Great guys! Super knowledgable. They took the lead on restoring my Boss and are currently working on my 85' Redline, both of which I originally purchased from them. Zach Pilgrim is the mechanic who's been helping me out. A BMX guy himself. Definitely give him a call if you need some help with your biuld. He loves this stuff. And they ship all over the world.

And if no one has asked may have some NOS stuff up in the rafters or above the office etc. Wonder if Jimmy still has his old RRS at his folks house?

Later a Sting ray modified with parts from Guys Bike Shop would be my first Race Bike.
I bugged my dad everytime we drove by that bike shop for that green Sting Ray in the window.
