A couple year's back I was selling another bike and told the guy what I was looking for. He knew someone that had the frameset. Bar's and post I painted and the rest is survivor

Just picked up an 88 Detour and was hoping someone can tell me the CORRECT pedals that came on the bike from the factory. Thanks in advance.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

KTI? That's the brand that was on the 1987s. But the style is different so maybe also is the brand.
Could be Hwa Fong maybe. here's a pic from DYNOBMX's survivor.

Those look like the 87 Compe pedals maybe. I just went through all the survivor 88 Detours and they all had these rectangular with the oddly large teeth pictured above.

Yep. Sometimes they changed parts up after the catalog for actual relase. But that is what the catalog was showing!

I wonder if those from the catalog are what came on the 88 Compe. Edit: Nope. It Looks like they used leftover 87 Comp pedals for the 88 catalog.
87 Compe had round KTI's, but the D-Tour had rectangular.

I think the key on these may be the end caps. I used similar end caps on restoring a few pairs of Victor VP500's. Maybe it's a plastic version BITD from that company?

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

My 93 Dyno Air purple splash catalog build.

Only the catalog purple splash air got the yellow and red decals I’ve never seen one with them besides that one.
