.6% out of 3rd place with voting ending soon. Hard to compete with the custom and restored bikes. They are perfect.

I know it' frustrating, man but we just have to do our thing.  I walk right past all those bikes at the shows and straight to the survivors.

Re: Talk Dyno to me!

Picked up this (2000 or 2001) Dyno Zone last week on the curbside.  Stripped it down, degreased, then rebuilt everything.  It cleaned up pretty good.  Im gonna sell it locally cheap.  It's going to be a good bike for a kid to beat on again.

1988 OG Dyno Detour (Owner's Manual and Sales Receipt)

Deinotherium ("terrible beast" derived from Ancient Greek, deinos meaning "terrible", therion meaning "beast") was a large prehistoric relative of modern-day elephants that appeared in the Middle Miocene and survived until the Early Pleistocene.

The amount of absolute sh*t on the Bay the last month or so has to be at an all time high.  Same goes for the BMX facebook pages.  Pathetic.  No bro, your powdered 86 Taiwain Performer is not worth $1500 and your faux pretzel bars don't add to the value. Come on brahhhh

If you dare me, I'll jump pretty much anything

I looked hard at those, and even considered lavender fabric paint over the yellow(which I hate). I ended up with an interesting situation though: I bought some NOS pacific palms white pads. The white inner foam was for a 1" tube, so I stole the charcoal grey foam from my 26" SE padset that I took off the bike. The fabric on the P.P. set is a rather translucent nylon material that looks bright white over OE white foam, but took on a more iridescent look over the grey. So now it looks kind of white/grey/lavender! One last obstacle was that the cover would barely close at the Velcro since tubing O.D. was still larger. The solution was found on Amazon by way of a 5ft roll of 3/4" adhesive-backed white Velcro. Stuck back to back, this created a Velcro extension enough for the nylon cover to close cool  If anyone needs this fix, let me know...I have four feet of it left! hahah
The bike is coming along, though I am still searching for the right set of chrome pretzel bars. my 92's are on it currently, but are quite different than the first version(like my lavender set). If I can't find a trade, I will have to just strip these and have them plated, which then looks too nice for the frame. I do plan to eventually re-powder the frame, but not before I can find CORRECT decals for it. I have a set of RX-3 levers on it for now, but they are rather tired in appearance. IN their favor, they are engraved 1985's with perfect locking levers. I have put my search for lavender seat on the backburner for now, and run the dyna that I have. I will eventually go with White redline cranks to go with my minty 9/16 DX pedals. For now, some white sugino's and fusion dx's are in place.
