Re: NOS IN THE BOX 1983 MONGOOSE PRO CLASS IN SHOW CHROME

I live a block from where BMX Products was.

I have a whole storage unit of old Mongoose bikes in boxes I'm selling for $200 each.   You must have gotten one of mine.

JUST KIDDING!  big_smile   Well, I do live a block away though!

Sure I'll look like a bear at the circus, but I'll get a little fun out of it.

Well it took about 27 hours for someone to chime in with "ride the hell out of it" While I respect your opinion, I think you are wrong. There is a whole world of people who would spend a lot of money on something like this, and to build it and ride it would be a shame.

Used bikes like that are a dime a dozen, but this is pretty rare. Keeping it in the box gives you options, riding it does not.

Re: NOS IN THE BOX 1983 MONGOOSE PRO CLASS IN SHOW CHROME

Since it was opened, I would get a store display case or make something, put the box in the backround and display all the parts laid out on the shelves. I wouldn't open anything else or assemble it....... Just show it and keep protected....    Very cool find !!

Dude, did you shyt your pants. I just did after reading this and looking at the amazing pictures.

Holy fudging hell. yikes. Absolutely rad. cool

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy. smile

that sob is nice! as far as the riding comments, that model is an appropriate size for a teenager, not a full grown man IMO. Box it back up.
