Re: GT fork stand *** spring installation video ***

Thank you for posting that, we've had some come back with bent or missing springs, damage from being clamped in a vise, hit with hammers, or scratched up with screwdrivers because people don't realize there is an easy way to do them.

Where can I find some spring clips for my GT standers? I've been looking for two clips.

Re: GT fork stand *** spring installation video ***

i found out some funny stuff the other day...
there are tons of "no name standers floating around" on ebay...
they charge up to 50bucks for them sometimes....
i just found out what they are nowadays used for....
http://www.fahrradieschen.de/Artikel_Fa … ppbar.html
its for a bike child seat -- kids can put their feet so they wont get inside the spokes...
this was just a quick google search i found some the other day for 5bucks...
im not sure but maybe these springs will fit also???

Re: GT fork stand *** spring installation video ***

Hi all,
Sorry to dig up an old thread (especially with my first post) but I was wondering if the spring removal and reinstall information was still available anywhere. Thanks

Was just looking for info on GT fork standers.
This thread popped up.

Realizing at least 2 of the members posting on this thread are no longer with us          sad
