1986 GT Pro Performer
1986 GT Pro Performer
S O L D! My first full restoration of my first real freestyle bike in arguably GT's most popular color ever!
This 1986 GT Pro Performer frame and fork was originally lavender in color. The frame, fork, headset, lower gyro plate, seat post clamp and mallet stem were all original to each other. From there, I began to amass parts from here on the museum until I had everything that I needed to complete the build. I was originally going to build this bike as a survivor. But once I saw what C4 Labs was doing with day-glo pink, my mind was made up for me! I promptly shipped all of my parts to Chip at C4 Labs. Chip did an amazing job with the restoration. I'm thrilled with how it has turned out! According to old pictures that I have, the day-glo pink that Chip at C4 Labs used is a perfect match to the original day-glo pink GT's that I had back in the day! I really want to ride this bike, but I just can't bring myself to do it. So, for now, I'm going to enjoy just sitting here and looking at it. I hope you enjoy looking at it too!

Re: 1986 GT Pro Performer
Thanks for the compliments guys! Your day-glo 86 Pro Performer was a big part of my motivation DemonGT. To be honest, I think I like the white bars and seatpost on your bike better DemonGT. Actually, I really like them both ALOT!

Re: 1986 GT Pro Performer
The decals came from Ultrahive and they are the blue and magenta combination. I'm really happy with the way the stickers look on the pink.I was looking at some of your bikes earlier, specifically your black 87 PFTTM and the blue in those stickers really look awesome. The color really jumps off of the black.
