1994 Auburn CR-20RX

Work in Progress: Updated, getting close

This bike was given to me in high school by my buddy who was using it as a lake jumper. I am going to do a resto on the bike and see how it turns out.

3/15/08 - I finally broke out the gun and laid down some new paint and clear. I decided to go with a lighter, brighter purple. I can't seem to find original decals and a few other things, so I decided to do my own thing.

7/7/10 - Well, I'm at it again. I had last repainted the frame a much lighter and loud purple. I really didn't like it then and it hasn't grown on me since. I haven't touched the bike since I painted it in '08 due to some other projects, but I'm back on it now. I started stripping it down and am pretty sure that I am going to go with white. After 3 years of searching, I still cannot locate a decal set for this model cr20rx so I have blown off an original resto. I am going to paint it white and trim it out in blue and red ano parts. I am also thinking of having some custom colored decals made too.

I am very patriotic and I love the red, white and blue ano color scheme. I would love to get one of the USA edition Intense bikes but $800 is a little steep for me and I'm not crazy about the curved hydroformed tubing.
