I priced every thing from making mine by hand. Ran around $30 or so...thats for fabric was by the yard $8. 3 types I found...Nylon...to thin if you ask me. Duck canvas perfit in thickness but not feel. Then was informed to look for Nylon Canvas, so thats what to use. Not sure I would try Vinal but...who knows???? I watch the heat real easy to melt...wink Velcro was about $5 for 30" I may buy some colors on line soon. $ 1 for craft fome 8.5 x 11 sheet  for neck/ stem. Same color thread was about $2. and got the center of the pads after mesering my frame and handle bars from Home Dep. or Lows for around $10...Pipe padding for instalation. Paper was also $10 for 5 sheets.

I think it would be cheeper and easier to use a blank color Flite set, unless you want custom colored covers. The only color foam at Home Depot is black. I've been searching online for a supplier of white or colored foam, but no luck. However, props to you for making the pads from scratch.

Thanks, and yes I am only able to fined it in white or black as well would love to get colors even thought of them dumb pool noodles they sell ...think they may be to big in size, It was a thought roll also hard to get is the color Velcro...can only get full roll for $13 a roll...may be if I were going to make a crap load. I would love to be able to buy it in ...like 2 yeard at a time. It takes 30" for one set also comes in the widths of...  5/8", 3/4", 1.0", 1", 2.0"....I used the 5/8 and too small for me, 1" too big, so I like the 3/4". Looked at that post as well and realy great post but no luck on the ones Im looking for.

Re: First Ever Supergoose Pads

Crap, I just looked into them and no way will they fit frame and bars. Bigest size is 1" outter size.
most pads are....

Frame is....12" = to 1' Length X 2" outter Width....1" inner hole.
Handle Bar is.... 9" Length X 1 1/2" outter Width....3/4" inner hole.

I was trying to think of something original myself. Flames did come to mind. I never thought of tribal, but I think I have seen some OG pads, with a similar pattern.
