Re: 1980 Redline MX-III

where were you able to find the decals and pads?  I am in the middle of restoring my 1981 MX III (chrome and GOLD).  I have managed to hang onto this beauty for 27 years.  Also, are those "new" rims or are they just imaculate??

Re: 1980 Redline MX-III

Thanks lukejk for checking out my 1980 Redline MX-III and for your message.  I bought this bike from a member here a few years back all original.  I cleaned , painted and modified just a couple of things.
The rims are original UKAI gold alloy - relaced and retrued ( made a BIG difference )  As far as the decals and pads i got it from ebay.  The problem is that it doesn't show up that often ..  Luckily , I got a good deal. A Buddy of mine restored his Redline MX III  by purchasing 2 full sets of decals and combined the III.
Best of luck with your Redline MX III , can't wait to see your finish product.
