Re: 1979 Mongoose Motomag

Thanks Shivadread I got the frame given to me because it was a rust bucket with a stuck seat-post. After trying everything else I managed to remove the seat-post by oxy torch. While freeing it I put a very small pin hole in the seat tube so I got brass solder and filled it in. I painted it with two coates of super primer and two coates of classic pearl black/gold fleck. I puchased everything else of ebay and made sure i was bidding on mint condition items. I bought the hubs and rims seperate and built and trued them mysef. The tyres are comp 3 copies, pretty good for copies hey!

God Bless

Re: 1979 Mongoose Motomag

This is just as sweet looking as your Bluemax.
Saved as a fave.

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks ;)
